I really only like my weekends now. And I like them so much more because I'm not at home dealing with family. It's nice to spend time with them, but college friends are so much more entertaining. Especially because they're entertaining in a much different way. ;)
Weekly Highlights
Best Day: Saturday. Why? Lazy, lazy morning. Watched Constantine with Keanu Reeves. Ambrose had a terrible temperature of 103 degrees F, so Kumar and Dev took him to the hospital to get checked. (Turns out he has the piggy flu.) While hanging out with another certain group of people did not go so well, I did get Sbarro pizza out of it. ODU football game. (Final score 31-10. Hahaha Georgetown.) Halloween wanderings as a prisoner, while Dev played the police man. Fun shenanigans, such as laughing very loudly, finding Ronald McDonald, and shouting at random people. Oh, and dancing.
Food of the Week: pasta
Beverage of the Week: I want to say water. So I'll say water.
Person of the Week: Devon (week 3). Also the guy we found dressed up as Ronald McDonald. That was just funny.
Moment of the Week: Again, multiple. Every time I saw Dev, it was after staying away from him so that he could study. It was really interesting taking those breaks from him (and even not talking to him at all on Wednesday), but I think it was a good thing. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?
This week, I admitted to liking the feeling of being stimulated. ;)
I think my favorite thing that I bought this week was my Halloween costume that I bought on Sunday. I'm a bit sad that I don't have a full body picture of just me, but I'm sure a lot of people saw it on Saturday night. And I did get a good number of compliments (a good number for me anyway).

I was dizzy this morning.
I would elaborate on the title of this post, but I think you'll just have to read below.
Weekly Highlights
Best Day: Friday, hands down. I think what made it the best day was what happened last night. Fun stuff. xD
Food of the Week: Junk food (Okay, so not exactly a specific food. But I've had a lot of junk food this week. And I need to stop that.)
Beverage of the Week: Coffee (Week 2) (Again, another thing that isn't healthy. Ugh. These boys have had a bad influence on me there. Starbucks!)
Person of the Week: I think it's a tie this week. Devon (Week 2) and a mutual friend we call Kumar. I don't think I need to explain why Devon's here. And it was Kumar's 21st birthday today, but there was a pre-party for him last night. xD
Moment of the Week: There are several moments this week. Picking Devon up from the airport. (See the post below this one.) Cuddling with Devon. Just being with Devon. (I am not obsessed or infatuated. Truthfully, the times I am with him, whether we are cuddling or studying in the library, are happy times.) Also Kumar's pre-party that the boys threw for him on Friday night. That was ridiculous fun, and I had such a good time. And so did mostly everyone else. hahaha
This week, I admitted to liking Devon very, very much and to trusting him just as much.
I haven't really bought anything noteworthy this week. Maybe food, which tastes SO good when you're hungry. P:

a belated moment
"Picking Dev up from the airport"
So this was Monday morning. He missed his connecting flight on Sunday so had to take a flight the next morning. He arrived around 9:30 am.
I got to the airport around 9 am. Dev's flight gets pushed back from 9:07 am until 9:24. So I find a chair and plop myself down with Kingdom of Fear by Hunter S. Thompson. (something I borrowed from Devon) At the same time, I seriously contemplate getting a vanilla latte from the Starbucks right in front of me.
9:24 approaches, and my heart beats faster. I glance down the terminal entrance, trying to spot Dev's dark brown hair bobbing above the other heads of what only look like businessman after businessman. Finally, he comes into view, wearing that camouflage jacket because I kept the brown one that he usually wears.
I get up from my seat and walk over to him as he approaches me. I smile and hug him, then turn my face up to kiss him.
Yes, it was that cute.

Returning on a cloudy rainy day
Yes, it's cloudy and rainy in Virginia Beach today.
Weekly Highlights
Best Day: There were a few this week. One wasn't better than the other. Um, Tuesday was definitely a good day. And Thursday night. ;)
Food of the Week: Mac and Cheese (Whether it was Easy Mac or Kraft Mac and Cheese, there was some sort of pasta and cheese every day of the week.)
Beverage of the Week: Coffee (I fell in love with the vanilla latte from Starbucks. OMG)
Person of the Week: Devon <3
Moment of the Week: Seeing Devon off at the airport (He's in Florida this weekend for his older brother's engagement party. His older brother's name is Paris, and the two of them are about ten years apart. But just watching Devon's back as he walked away gave me chills. I really want to pick him up tomorrow night and do the whole cheesy "Welcome Back" thing.)
This week, I admitted to being a hopeless romantic.
I bought a keyboard today that is fold-able. The keys are kinda weird, but it's growing on me. And it has a number pad! :D

On To New Things
The Hurrah Players' production of "Seussical the Musical" officially ended on Sunday. I can only say that I've had the second best time of my life working on "Seussical the Musical" with everyone in the Hurrah Players. (Or mostly everyone. lol) It was such a fun time and it really helped me deal with some of the other, tougher things going on. I could just put on that yellow dress, yellow labcoat, and goggles, and say "We're Whos here. We're all Whos here, smaller than the eye can see." It made me feel better about my height too. lol again.
I have an audition for Holidays in Virginia (one of Hurrah's Xmas shows) tonight at 9:15 PM. I get to stay at the studio for about an hour and a half after my tap class. Maybe I'll go grub somewhere in Norfolk? P:)
I'm excited that it's getting colder outside. Maybe we'll have a white Christmas for real this year. (:D
Chi-Chi / Chelsea
P.S. And since we have two weeks off for Christmas in December, I hope my family will go up to New Jersey to visit my aunts. They only live about AN HOUR AWAY from NYC. There are some shows that I really REALLY want to see. *hint hint*

Some of the most fun and caring people to work with. :)

Woes...and maybe nice things too
I meant to type a note last night, but felt like I would say silly things because I was pretty annoyed.
And I'm still a little annoyed. But not as much.
Okay. Here's a pros and cons list of Prescott (yes, he lets us call him by his last name only).
Pros
--he teaches each vocal part in class
--he can play piano well
--he has a thoe (I can't really think of another pro... :/ )
Cons
--he limits the "fun" (more than Nult did)
--he has a scary smile (scarier than Nult's)
--he does the little thing where he stops talking and just waits for the talking people to shut up
--he wants us to be hyper and peppy for every freaking rehearsal
--he insults the students and comes off looking and sounding like he really means it
--he's naive if he thinks that we don't need Saturday rehearsals
Not that he isn't a good director. And he has gotten things done. But it's just...too weird, too different. Gah...
nota bene: The first chorus show (with our freaky patriotic theme) will be October 21. Come to see the campiness. Come to see friends. But come especially because Prescott's charging us about $700 to go to New York in January, and we need the money to make the price go down. D:
On a better, more fun note, the Hurrah Players' production of "Seussical the Musical" opens on October 10. I am having so much more fun with them than I expected to have. I have made new friends and am gaining a bunch more experience with performing and rehearsing than I am with chorus. And I am taking a tap class with Hurrah and learning loads there too. (:D
I hope all of you are having good times, wherever you are.
Remember: October 10 through the end of the month on weekends - go see "Seussical"
Remember: October 21 - provide some moral (and monetary) support for PAHS Chorus
(sorry for the rant. lol)
P.S. I also forgot to mention that we have this chick choreographer who's been giving us "dance moves" for our "show choir." I know last Monday night was a complete waste of time, but at least we finished the first piece this Monday (with only 4 more dance rehearsals).

Hurrah Players Summer Camp: Day 1
So pretty much what I expected for the first day. We didn't do so much, just talking and introductions, games and ice breakers. That sort of thing. Oh, and there are a couple of idiots in the group too. I hope they cool down before long, or else something unfortunate may happen to them mysteriously.
All the classes were interesting, to say the least. There are some cliques among the older group, either because they go to school together or they're all Hurrah people. (By the way, I happen to be the oldest at the camp, me being 17 and a senior in high school. :/ )
My sister tagged along on this camp, so it's been a little hard to really break out and hang out with the people I want to hang out with. I am going to admit that it bugs me that she didn't care that my mom was putting her in this camp. Especially when public speaking isn't her strong point. I would have rather had her do something in school, not pay 100-some dollars to "experiment" over the summer. Agh...
But all in all, I think it'll be a bright two weeks. Unless Jordan is being an idiot again. Or the people won't shut up when we need to get stuff done. Sometimes it's hard being the oldest in a group like this.
I think I may very well join the Hurrah Players this fall. They are doing "Seussical...the Musical" for their fall production, which I would really like to do. I still am not sure if I want to be that involved with Chorus at school this year. It depends on how I like Mr. Prescott. :/
That's all for now. I may pop another blog tomorrow.
