The Wiz Vlog 1

Um...so this is the first ever vlog that I have made. I hope it's not boring or anything. :#

Broom Dance

We were waiting to be picked up after dance rehearsal this past Thursday. Jimmy started dancing with a broom and Meaghan joined the fray as well. Fun stuff. :D

First Gig of the Year

All right, so the PAHS Madrigals had our first gig today. We sang for the Teachers' Forum that was held in PAHS's own cafeteria/atrium. Woot. All of us were decked out in our silver and black (guys in tux's), with our 1-inch heels. Most of the girls were only concerned about not falling off of the risers that we were on. A fall from the top riser would be--what?--maybe 3 feet at the most. A bit scary, yes. But anyways, most of us made it through the gig without any real damage or injury. So it was fun, fun stuff. A bunch of us (that is: Emily, Chris, Katy, Whitney, and I) had gone to Pembroke Mall before hand, and we chowed down on Chinese and Italian yummies. We ran into (not really) Jimmy and Mego. Apparently, they were there because Mego needed to get a multi-vitamin for her ass (again, not really) and Jimmy pretty much had nothing else to do. Malls are nice little retreats when you're bored with nothing else to do and time to burn. And the going to the mall made us a little bit late in getting dressed and everything, Nulte was pretty pissed when we warmed up. After the gig, he told us that he had gone a bit teary. I swear, sometimes I think the man is bipolar. But we all love our big daddy!

Anywho, I've got second doubts about the going into psychology future that I had been considering. I really don't think that that's going to be such an enjoyable job for me. Then again, it's better pay than if I worked at a community theater/college/piano teacher. Although the piano teacher job is quite cool, when I think about it. Lots of little children. I like little children. They don't have as many problems as we older children have. Ah, that time of innocence.

School's going well, though I think that I'm not really as into it as I was at any point in time before now. I freaking love the dancing aspect of "The Wiz." I know I'm not the best dancer, but I'm so glad that Jimmy included me in his stand-in teachers group. I would so much rather be doing that stuff than going over "Smokey Joe's Cafe" a billion times.

Dance rehearsal tomorrow. That'll most likely be the most exciting part of my day. Considering doing a vlog about it. Stay tuned!
